(Geneseo, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton men's cross country team competed in the Geneseo Invitational on Saturday.
The Roos ran against some very tough competition from the 24 teams that were there.
Justin Richardson (Pavilion, N.Y.) was the Roos top finisher as he came in 144th place out of 283 runners in a time of 29:30.
Byron Danis (Rensselaer Falls, N.Y.) was next in a time of 31:29 followed by Joel Landry (Malone, N.Y.) (32:12), Tyler Morse (North Creek, N.Y.) (35:44), Brad Hamilton (Salem, N.Y.) (36:19), Shawn Wakefield (Cohoes, N.Y.) (37:52), and Alex Marroquin (Pine Bush, N.Y.) (38:26).
The host Knights won both the men's and women's overall titles. The men had 23 points while the women finished with 21.
