Roos Fall in Consolation Game of Hamilton Tip Tournament to Keystone College 99-56

(Clinton, N.Y.)- Keystone College relied on hot outside shooting to beat SUNY Canton 99-56 in the consolation game of the Hamilton College Tip Off Tournament Saturday in Clinton. The Roos, playing their fourth road game in the last five days, fell to 1-5.

Keystone hit 15 of 24 shots from beyond the arc and shot 51 percent overall to capture third place in the tournament.

Tony Parker (Sodus, N.Y.) scored 19 points and grabbed five rebounds to lead SUNY Canton. Tony Valentin (Perth Amboy, N.J.) had 14 points and two assists, and Jeff Grenier (Whitehall, N.Y.) added seven points and six rebounds.

Tereal Taylor fired in five 3s and had 21 points and two assists for Keystone. Kenneth Hardnett also had 21 points along with eight boards.
