(Canton, N.Y.)- Adam Fedor (Orleans, Ontario) scored with 1:37 left in overtime lifting the SUNY Canton men's ice hockey team past Niagara University 4-3 Friday night at the Canton Pavilion. The Roos won their third straight game improving to 6-1 in the Eastern Collegiate Hockey League and 7-7 overall.
The Roos fell behind 2-0 after two periods and then rallied to tie the game in the third behind unassisted goals from Scott Zaryski (Oswego, N.Y.) and Eric Cook (Cary, N.C.). Niagara regained the lead before Jeremiah Hardin (Alpharetta, Ga.) scored at the 8:31 mark of the final period from Zaryski to send the game into overtime.
Jimmy Merrow (Plainsboro, N.J.) had 20 saves for SUNY Canton.
Tom Mooradian, Marc Degiuillio, and Trevor Kenny scored for the Purple Eagles and Dane Wakefield had 28 saves.
