(Vancouver, Wash.)- Justin Richardson (Pavilion, N.Y) completed his outstanding freshman season running in the NAIA National Championship Meet in Vancouver, Wash.

Richardson qualified for the national meet by finishing second in the Sunrise Conference championship on Nov. 7. Richardson was the conference Rookie of the Year and was also named to the all-conference team.

On Saturday Richardson, one of three runners from the Sunrise Conference to compete, ran against the nation's best runners and finished 299th out of 323 total runners in the 8K race at Fort Vancouver National Historic Site.

Malone College captured the overall men's championship for the third straight year.
