Morley, Maynard, Waryasz Honored by Sunrise Conference

(Canton, N.Y.)- Three members of the SUNY Canton women's soccer team has received postseason honors from the Sunrise Conference. Freshman forward Kirsten Morley (Ogdensburg, N.Y.) was named Rookie of the Year and she was joined on the all-conference team by senior defender Jackie Maynard (Brasher Falls, N.Y.) and freshman forward Angie Waryasz (Lowville, N.Y.).
Morley led the Roos and was fifth in the conference in scoring with 14 goals and five assists for 33 points. Earlier in the season Morley was named the NAIA National Player of the Week after scoring a hat trick in back-to-back games.
Waryasz had 10 goals and nine assists for 29 points and Maynard led all defenders with five goals and 10 points.
