(Presque Isle, Maine)- The SUNY Canton men's basketball team lost at the University of Maine at Presque Isle 94-90 Friday night.  The Roos fell to 1-3 in the Sunrise Conference and 3-11 overall.  They'll wrap up their three-game swing in Maine on Saturday at the University of Maine at Fort Kent.

Tony Valentin (Perth Amboy, N.J.) had 18 points, six rebounds and three assists to pace the Roos on Friday.

Deric Alston (Jacksonville, N.C.) contributed 16 points, three assists and two steals.  Carlton Mitchell (Bronx, N.Y.), in just his second game in a Roos uniform, banged din  three 3-pointers and finished with 16 points.  Jujuan Williams (Jacksonville, N.C.) added 13 points, four rebounds and four assists.

Patrick Manifold poured in a game-high 24 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the Owls.  Chris Coffin added 18 points, eight rebounds and five assists.
