(Canton, N.Y.)- Sophomore forward Rob Liggio (Canton, N.Y.) has been named the Eastern Collegiate Hockey League Player of the Week.

Liggio scored two goals and had five assists in two games as the Roos swept No. 17 Robert Morris to clinch the Eastern Collegiate Hockey League regular season title and garner a berth in the ACHA Division I National Tournament.

Liggio had two goals and two assists in Friday night's 10-4 win and then had three assists in Saturday's 7-1 win.

The liberal studies major is currently fourth on the team in scoring with nine goals and 18 assists for 27 points.
