Adam Levy had a hat trick against Rochester
(Canton, N.Y.)-The SUNY Canton men's ice hockey team continues to rack up the points and wins as they ripped the University of Rochester 15-0 Saturday afternoon in an Eastern Collegiate Hockey League game at the Canton Pavilion.  The Roos won their sixth straight game improving to 12-1 in league play and 16-10 overall.

Adam Levy (Penfield, N.Y.) recorded his second straight hat trick finishing with three goals and two assists for SUNY Canton.  Levy scored nine points this weekend and is now four points away from 100 in his career.  Levy very well could surpass that milestone with three regular season games left as well as the ECHL playoffs and the ACHA Divison I national tournament.

Adam Fedor (Orleans, Ontario) also had five-point game with two goals and three assists.  Tom Darling (Oswego, N.Y.) and Dan Don (Gouverneur, N.Y.) also scored twice and Corey Frizell (Orleans, Ontario) and John Payne (Port Moody, B.C.) each chipped in with a goal and three assists apiece.

Jimmy Merrow (Plainsboro, N.J.) notched his first shutout of the year with 19 saves and he also had an assist.

Ryan Sigurdson had 25 saves for the Yellowjackets.

Carolina gets the nod after batting an impressive .882 in a four-game sweep of Vermont Technical College.  

The junior was named the Sunrise Conference Player of the Week after she belted three doubles and two triples, drove in 15 runs and scored 10 times.  

She went 4-for-4 twice, the second time finishing with seven RBIs, and she had four hits in three out of the four games.

Olivares leads the conference batting .594.  She is second in triples (2), third in RBIs (16) and tied for fifth in doubles with three.

Matthew receives the award after batting .667 in six games this week finishing with five RBIs and four runs.  

He was named the Sunrise Conference Player of the Week after going 3-for-3 with a double and three RBIs in a 6-5 loss to St. Michael’s College.  He also went 3-for-3 with a double, a triple and two runs in an 8-5 win over Vermont Technical College.

In addition he struck out eight batters and allowed just five hits in another 11-1 win over the Green Knights.

Fallon is batting .393 with four doubles, a triple and five RBIs.  He's one of the top pitchers in the conference as he is second in both strikeouts (18) and opponents batting average (.234) and third in both earned-run average (6.04) and innings pitched (22.1).
