(Canton, N.Y.)- The SUNY Canton men's ice hockey team has cracked the top 25 in the American Collegiate Hockey Association Division I rankings.
The Roos made the biggest jump in the polls this week as they settled in at No. 23 after being unranked for the entire season. SUNY Canton is currently riding a six-game winning streak that has seen their offense explode for an astonishing 63 goals while limiting opponents to just nine total goals.
SUNY Canton has clinched the regular season championship of the Eastern Collegiate Hockey League, a berth in the ACHA Division I national tournament and the top seed in the upcoming ECHL tournament in Rochester next week. SUNY Canton has one final regular season game left on Friday night against Syracuse University before heading into postseason.
