Men's Basketball Falls at Fisher College 103-86

(Boston, Mass.)- Deric Alston (Jacksonville, N.Y.) dropped in 19 points and Tony Parker (Sodus, N.Y.) collected his fourth double-double of the season but it wasn't enough as the SUNY Canton men's basketball team lost to Fisher College 103-86 Saturday in Boston, Mass. snapping their two-game winning streak.  The Roos are now 3-6 in the Sunrise Conference and 5-14 overall.  

Parker shot 8-for-10 from the field and finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds.  Alston also had three boards and Jajuan Williams (Jacksonville, N.C.) added 13 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.

Louis Williams also recorded a double-double with 21 points and 11 assists for the Falcons who remain one of the hottest teams in the country.  Fisher won their 20th straight game improving to 9-0 in the conference and 22-1 overalll.  Casey Pursell chipped in with 20 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and four steals.

Men's Ice Hockey
Jimmy made 78 saves in two games for the men's ice hockey team at the ACHA Division I National Championship in Bensenville, Ill.

The junior goalie from Plainsboro, N.J. recorded 51 saves in an opening round loss to No. 2 Penn State and then made 27 saves as the No. 15 Roos beat No. 16 Rutgers University 6-5 in overtime in a consolation game.

Adam scored his third overtime goal and fifth game-winning tally of the year helping the men's ice hockey team beat No. 16 Rutgers 6-5 in overtime in a consolation game of the ACHA Division I National Championship in Bensenville, Ill.

The freshman forward from Orleans, Ontario finished with two goals and one assist and he also had one goal in an opening round loss to No. 2 Penn State.
