(Canton, N.Y.)- SUNY Canton has announced they will be adding women's lacrosse to the athletic program with competition starting in the 2011-12 academic year.\

The athletic department is currently undergoing a search for a coach.  Anyone interested in applying should submit a letter of interest and a resume to the Human Resources Office at SUNY Canton.

Women's lacrosse now brings the total number of intercollegiate sports at SUNY Canton to 12.  The team will practice and play on the all-weather turf field and will also utilize the field house in the new $40 million athletic facility that is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2011.
