Box Score (Portland, Maine)- The SUNY Canton men's basketball team ran their winning streak to three games with a 72-55 win over the University of Maine at Augusta Saturday afternoon in Portland.

The Roos improved to 11-6 overall. 

Junior forward Irving Cato (New York, N.Y.) led four SUNY Canton players in double figures as he posted his sixth double-double of the season with 14 points and 13 rebounds.

Freshman guard Tyler Ellison (New York, N.Y.) scored a game-high 15 points and had six rebounds and three steals.  Freshman guard Sean Perrin (Prescott, Ontario) drilled four 3-pointers en route to 12 points and sophomore guard Khalid Vaughn (New York, N.Y.) added 11 points, five rebounds and five assists.  Junior Ryan Lamica (Constable, N.Y.) also had a solid game with nine points and seven assists.

Eric Gagne and Darius Vanegas each scored 14 points to lead Augusta.

SUNY Canton will take on Vermont Technical College on Sunday at 3 p.m. in Randolph Center, Vt.
