2017 Season
Appeared in 21 games, starting in eight games... Notched an RBI in his first at-bat of the season vs. NYU on 3/5/17...In a conference series vs. No. 24 nationally-ranked St. John Fisher, he recorded his first collegiate hit, and then proceeded to go 6-for-8 with a double, while scoring twice in his first collegiate starts... Earned Empire 8 Player of the Week, ECAC Player of the Week, AD3I Player of the Week, and Roo of the Week for that same stretch of play (3/27/17-4/2/17)...Recorded a career-high three hits and scored a run in the Roos 15-3 win vs. Plattsburgh on 5/2/17...Led the team with a batting average of .394

2016 Season
Appeared in 7 contests… Scored his first collegiate run 5/3/16 against St. Lawrence, tying the game 4-4 in the 8th inning on a single off the bat of Nicolas Demarais...Then made a terrific diving catch in left field with a runner on third base in the ninth inning to save the game... The Roos went on to win 5-4, sweeping the Saints on the season and tying the program record for wins. 


High School
Francesco was a three sport athlete in high school competing in soccer, basketball and baseball…His junior year he was named All-Northern for baseball… During his senior year he earned Defensive MVP in baseball and basketball, as well as the Section X Sportsmanship Award in baseball, basketball, and soccer… His soccer team was the Class B and C Section X Champions, and made the NYS Elite 8.

Born March 12, 1996… He is the son of Frank and Jennifer Palumbo…Brother of Cristiano…Francesco is a Sports Management major.

Reason You Chose SUNY Canton: The biggest draw for me was the Sports Management major.  I knew SUNY Canton would be able to provide excellent real-world experience.
Plans For After Graduation: My goal has always been to work with professional sports.  With the experiences and mentors that I have had so far here at SUNY Canton, Sports Media has become the area of expertise that I am striving towards.
What Makes You Unique: I like sports and music history... I also collect baseball cards, and sports memorabilia.
