Turf Field

SUNY Canton Turf Field

Turf Field 2
In the fall of 2007 SUNY Canton opened a brand new, all-weather lighted synthetic turf field. The $1.8 million project included new lights and bleachers along with the regulation soccer and lacrosse fields. The field will be used mainly by the men's and women's soccer teams but is also utilized by student groups and local high school teams.

The synthetic surface is Field Turf which uses synthetic fibers and a combination of fill materials to simulate real grass and provide excellent drainage.

The project also included a brand new scoreboard that was graciously donated by Pepsi Cola Bottlers in Ogdensburg.
