(Canton, N.Y.)- Freshman guard Abbey Shoen (Waddington, N.Y.) of the women's basketball team has been named the Sunrise Conference Rookie of the Week for the second straight time.

Shoen is a repeat winner after helping  the Roos win their third straight game beating Fisher College 62-54.  Shoen was a perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line and finished with 11 points, three rebounds, three assists, two steals, and two blocks in another stellar all-around game.

Shoen leads the Roos with 25 steals and is averaging 6.2 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists and is shooting a team-high 80 percent from  the free throw line.
